Relentless focus on design & construction

Unlike mainstream job boards, we don't try to do everything for everybody. AECWorkForce is devoted exclusively to AEC professionals— from the members who support it, to the professionals who visit the site, to the recruitment and career content provided at the site, and even to the way job and resume information is collected and organized.

For example, while one of those "big" boards might have three or four ways to classify an engineer or an architect, our site sorts AEC job postings and resumes AEC professions into 52 discrete discipline/specialty categories. In addition, jobs and professionals can be classified into 20 functional roles specific to the AEC industry. And we don't just find out if a professional is registered- we record the specific states where he or she is registered. 

In short you won't find "Insurance Salesman" in our database, but you will find Civil Engineering/Aviation, Mechanical Engineering/Fire Protection, and Architect/Field Services.

How it Works

AECWorkForce provides two distinct interfaces: one a career management portal for AEC professionals, and the other a recruitment management application for our employer customers. Behind these stands a robust database devoted to matching the needs of employers and professionals, including powerful search, data management, and automatic notification features.

AECWorkForce enables employers to create attractive web job postings and company profiles with graphics and hyperlinks that are available instantly to AEC professionals next door or around the globe. Our members can store, edit, and activate job postings whenever they wish, and manage responses in a special "Employer Inbox."  One- to 12-month members can search the databank of AEC professionals who have published their resumes on AECWorkForce. Set up agents to search resumes automatically.

Professionals who visit the career site can utilize our resume builder, search job postings, and set up agents to automatically scan new postings.
